Role Overview
Watu Simu is hiring a Sales Representative to boost sales performance, support dealerships, and maintain optimal route operations. This role involves fieldwork, dealer engagement, performance tracking, and credit conversion strategies across assigned territories.
Key Responsibilities
- Review Metrics & Performance: Analyze performance data to identify trends and improve dealer performance. Monitor offline and unpaid metrics. Submit daily reports on activities and progress.
- Route Management: Expand store coverage by onboarding new local dealerships and increasing store count per dealership.
- Market Sensing: Provide feedback on market trends, competitor activity, and pricing to adjust strategies accordingly.
- Drive Credit Conversions: Convert cash customers to credit options through dealerships to drive revenue growth.
- Compliance, Training & Retraining: Ensure compliance with company policies. Conduct daily FO training on systems, onboarding, installment plans, and loan terms.
- Dealer Engagement: Build strong, trust-based relationships with dealers and DSRs to ensure smooth operations.
- Operational Support: Resolve or escalate operational issues, ensure route compliance, and support FOs and dealers in the field.
- Daily Reporting: Submit timely reports on routes, activities, issues faced, and actions taken.
Ideal Candidate
- Experience in field sales or FMCG distribution.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Effective communication and training ability.
- Knowledge of the Ugandan retail market and mobile financial services.
- Ability to work independently and manage a dynamic field role.
