Description
True North Consults is hiring a Crane Operator (220T & 80T) to oversee, coordinate, operate and report any issues related to company vehicle/ Crane and provide critical customer service as per given lifting plans.
Activities
- Operate cranes to lift, move or place equipment and materials.
- Inspect cranes and calculate capacities.
- Assemble tower cranes on-site.
- Perform routine crane maintenance such as cleaning and lubricating.
- Perform pre-trip and post trip inspections and report mechanical defects.
- Verify loads to shipping papers, maintain record of duty status according to regulations.
- Comply with QA/QC, and HSSE regulations.
- Performs any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the immediate supervisor and in accordance with job roles, company policy or prevailing conditions.
Person Specifications
Education, Training,
Experience & Skills
- Minimum UCE/UACE certificate
- Great training in driving heavy vehicles and with a valid driving permit of classes up to G, CE, or CH
- Defensive driving certificate
- Medical Fitness To work.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant working experience in reputable organisation
