Wheel Loader Operator Job Description

Wheel Loader Operator Key Responsibilities

• Operate wheel loaders and related machinery for site construction and maintenance tasks.
• Use front-end loaders to transport materials and debris around the rig efficiently.
• Conduct daily inspections of equipment for damage, report shortages, and note any quality issues.
• Deliver materials and equipment to designated locations promptly.
• Perform routine maintenance and safety checks to ensure equipment functionality and compliance.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory and operational activities.
• Follow company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Keep the work environment clean, safe, and organized.
• Support rig crew with additional duties as assigned by rig management.

Wheel Loader Operator Qualifications and Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Certified in wheel loader operation (approved certification).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating wheel loaders.
• Experience or familiarity with oil and gas operations is a plus.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and safety awareness abilities.
