Job Summary
As a Warehouse Controller, your primary responsibility will be to plan, coordinate, and supervise daily warehouse activities, ensuring the accurate movement, tracking, and accountability of goods. You will ensure that operational key performance indicators (KPIs) are met and maintained while adhering to strict health and safety standards and compliance protocols.
✅ Key Duties and Responsibilities

Supervise receipt, storage, loading, and dispatch of stock in line with company procedures.

Ensure accurate and timely inventory management, including daily shift opening and closing counts.

Monitor MHE (Material Handling Equipment) and ensure it is operational and maintained.

Drive team productivity and track performance against shift KPIs.
-
Coordinate warehousemen, loaders, and other shift staff to optimize operations.
-
Ensure all transactions are accurately processed in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) like JDA.
-
Maintain clear records for stock movements, and ensure proper documentation is signed, stamped, and filed.
-
Guarantee that stock put-away and retrievals align with system locations.
-
Oversee return stock processes and enforce compliance with returns SOPs.
-
Participate in audits (internal, regulatory, and client) and implement follow-up action plans.

Identify stock risks such as near-expiry or on-hold items and report to site leadership.

Supervise use and condition of warehouse equipment, ensuring all issues are reported and addressed.

Uphold all health & safety practices including use of PPE, sanitation, and workplace organization.

Lead housekeeping initiatives and ensure the warehouse environment remains clean, orderly, and safe.

Provide daily shift reports, productivity metrics, and improvement recommendations.
Qualifications and Experience Required
-
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Statistics, Supply Chain & Logistics Management, or a related field.

At least 2 years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations, preferably in a fast-paced, multinational setting.

Hands-on knowledge of Inventory Management and WMS tools (e.g., JDA, SAP).

Excellent understanding of warehouse flow, inventory accuracy, and compliance requirements.

Ability to manage teams, resolve conflicts, and drive performance in shift-based operations.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
-
Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
