As part of its expansion in corporate banking solutions, DFCU is seeking an experienced and results-driven Transaction Banking Sales Manager to grow the transactional banking product line for business clients.

Job Summary

The Transaction Banking Sales Manager will be responsible for driving the adoption and revenue growth of trade finance and cash management solutions within the corporate banking portfolio. This role requires close collaboration with Relationship Managers, Senior Sales Managers, Treasury, IT, and Operational Teams to enhance product usage and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Business Development

  • Develop and expand a target market for Trade and Cash Management products.
  • Work alongside Relationship Managers and cross-functional teams to identify sales opportunities and convert leads into revenue-generating clients.
  • Deliver assigned financial targets across trade and transactional banking portfolios.
  • Create and maintain a pipeline of qualified deals and monitor conversion rates regularly.

2. Product & Portfolio Management

  • Drive product sales awareness and utilization across assigned corporate accounts.
  • Monitor product performance, including financial metrics, trends, variance analysis, and customer feedback.
  • Recommend and implement enhancements to product features and delivery processes based on client feedback and market demand.
  • Ensure pricing of Trade and Cash Management products remains competitive and revenue-justified.

3. Client Relationship Management

  • Engage directly with corporate customers to identify their financial and operational needs and offer tailored transactional banking solutions.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service to promote retention, client satisfaction, and additional cross-selling opportunities.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve customer issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Enable client onboarding and ensure all documentation and compliance requirements are met.

4. Operational Support & Reporting

  • Support the implementation of customer service best practices across the corporate segment.
  • Provide training and coaching to relationship teams on trade and cash products.
  • Track key performance indicators and report performance against budgeted targets.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Certification or training in Information Technology is an added advantage.

Experience & Competencies

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in banking, preferably with a focus on sales or corporate banking solutions.
  • Prior experience as a sales executive in a financial institution is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of trade finance, supply chain, and cash management products.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external corporate clients.
  • Strong negotiation and consultative selling skills.
  • Proficient in using bank systems and financial applications.
  • Self-driven, highly motivated, and performance-oriented.
  • High level of integrity and accountability in customer interactions and financial reporting.
