JoJob Title: Telemarketing Officer Location: Kampala, Uganda Type: Contract (with possibility of extension based on performance) Industry: Marketing & Sales Company: CHINT Uganda Key Responsibilities As a Telemarketing Officer at CHINT Uganda, your role will be crucial in driving the company’s growth through lead generation and customer relationship management. Your responsibilities will include: Making outbound calls to potential clients and introducing CHINT’s products and services. Following up on inquiries and converting leads into sales. Generating, qualifying, and nurturing leads for the sales team. Updating customer information and sales activities in the CRM system. Building brand awareness and enhancing customer experience through effective communication. Providing product information and demonstrating a deep understanding of client needs. Collaborating with the marketing and sales teams to implement telemarketing campaigns. Meeting weekly and monthly sales and conversion targets. Minimum Qualifications & Experience To be successful in this role, candidates should meet the following requirements: A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field from a recognized institution. Must have attained at least a Second-Class Upper Division. A minimum of 3 years proven experience in a similar telemarketing, telesales, or inside sales role. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and persuade. Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets consistently. Knowledge of CRM software and basic data entry skills is an added advantage. Deep product knowledge and the ability to explain complex solutions in simple terms. A proactive mindset with a passion for customer service and results. Ability to understand customer needs and present suitable solutions effectively.
