Job Overview

The Telemarketing Officer will be responsible for making outbound calls to potential customers, promoting CHINT products and services, and converting leads into sales opportunities. The role involves building brand awareness, nurturing customer relationships, handling objections, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

You will work closely with the marketing and sales team to execute outreach strategies and exceed performance targets. Success in this role will depend on your communication skills, sales acumen, and ability to build rapport over the phone.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound calls to prospective clients to introduce CHINT’s products and services.

  • Promote key products, such as smart electrical devices, distribution systems, and automation solutions.

  • Identify and qualify sales leads through effective questioning and listening.

  • Maintain a detailed understanding of CHINT’s offerings to confidently address client inquiries.

  • Track all interactions, leads, and outcomes in the CRM system for reporting and follow-up.

  • Collaborate with the sales team to schedule meetings, demonstrations, or product presentations with interested prospects.

  • Consistently meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly call and conversion targets.

  • Handle customer objections with professionalism and provide effective solutions.

  • Build long-term client relationships through excellent communication and follow-up practices.

  • Provide feedback to management on customer insights, market trends, and competitor behavior.


Minimum Qualifications

Education:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Minimum academic requirement: Second-Class Upper from a recognized university.

Experience:

  • At least 3 years of experience in telemarketing, telesales, call center, or inside sales roles.

  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets in a similar role.


Key Skills and Competencies

  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong persuasion and negotiation abilities.

  • Deep understanding of customer engagement and sales funnels.

  • Ability to quickly understand customer needs and tailor messages accordingly.

  • Proven track record of achieving telemarketing KPIs, such as lead conversion, appointment setting, or direct sales.

  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (CRM tools, Microsoft Excel, and Word).

  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and proactive with a passion for sales.
