Job Overview

The Systems Analyst will serve as a critical liaison between Business Analysts, Project Managers, and Technical Teams. The role involves translating business requirements into functional specifications, documenting processes, and designing system workflows to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, regulatory standards, and software development practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into technical specifications, data mappings, and integration designs.
• Participate in system design reviews and ensure solutions align with functional and regulatory needs.
• Support test teams in creating and reviewing system integration test scenarios.
• Prototype application requirements and workflows to support iterative design and stakeholder validation.
• Identify and recommend system and process optimizations, consolidations, and automations.
• Develop and maintain system documentation including design documents, user manuals, and configuration guides.
• Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to ensure effective solution implementation and support.
• Conduct impact analysis of solutions and contribute to functional specification development.
• Assist in improving existing business applications and identifying consolidation opportunities.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in software/system analysis or product development, preferably in banking or fintech.
• Strong documentation skills and experience in creating technical manuals and functional specifications.
• Experience with SharePoint, SQL databases, and BPM tools.
• Knowledge of at least two programming/prototyping languages (e.g., Java, Python, dotNet).
• Familiarity with front-end technologies like React/JavaScript and UI/UX design is an added advantage.
• Experience working with both Windows and Linux/Unix environments.
• Solid understanding of databases: MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
• Demonstrated skill in Test-Driven Development and system troubleshooting.
• Project management experience is an added advantage.

• Ability to review source code to identify glitches and bugs is an added advantage.
