China Forestry International Development Ltd is hiring Senior Mechanics (2) to work at the company factory located in Kapeeka, Nakaseke. The role focuses on routine servicing, diagnosis, and repair of non-electrical vehicle components to keep transport and engineering vehicles operating safely and efficiently.
Job Summary
This role suits experienced mechanics who are confident working independently on engines, wheel alignment, and brake systems for fleet and engineering vehicles. You will support preventive maintenance schedules, carry out repairs, and troubleshoot faults to minimize downtime and maintain operational reliability.

Requirements
- Diploma or certificate in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
- At least 4 years of experience in vehicle maintenance, preferably with transport and engineering vehicles.
- Proficient in vehicle parts and skilled in routine maintenance tasks.
- Ability to perform maintenance on engines, wheel alignment, brake systems, and other non-electrical parts independently.
Preferred Qualifications
- Highly compliant, honest, and hardworking with a positive work attitude.
- Ability to handle vehicle electrical repairs is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software is an added advantage.
Job Responsibilities
- Carry out routine maintenance such as greasing, cleaning air filters, checking brakes, and checking oil and water levels.
- Repair and maintain non-electrical vehicle parts, including engines, wheel alignment systems, and brake systems.
- Identify and resolve vehicle malfunctions to ensure safe and efficient operations.
