Job Type: Full-Time Category: Management Location: Uganda Application Deadline: 9th January 2026 No. of Vacancies: 1 MTN Uganda is recruiting a Senior Manager Brand Analytics and Pricing Management to lead data-driven pricing decisions and strengthen MTN MoMo brand performance. In this role, you manage the development and implementation of Mobile Money strategy and value propositions, support profitability through optimal pricing structures, and drive brand and media execution across ATL, BTL, and TTL channels. You also turn customer usage behavior, channel insights, competitive intelligence, and macro-environment trends into clear recommendations that help leadership make confident commercial decisions. Reports to: Chief Commercial Officer (MTN MoMo) with a dotted reporting line to the Chief Marketing Officer, MTN Uganda

Role Purpose

You lead pricing strategy, brand analytics, and brand and media management for MTN MoMo. You build frameworks, tools, and models that quantify value drivers and test business scenarios, while ensuring pricing remains clear, competitive, and attractive to defined customer segments. You also guide integrated brand communication and media plans, coordinate campaign execution with internal teams and external partners, and track brand health metrics such as awareness, perception, loyalty, and campaign performance. Your work improves decision-making speed and accuracy across products, investments, and go-to-market initiatives.

Main Job Functions and Responsibilities

1) Pricing Strategy and Implementation

  • Develop and maintain a pricing framework and methodology across the organization.
  • Build and manage tools and models that assess key value drivers and quantify economic and commercial impact for strategic decisions.
  • Optimize value propositions by creating competitive and segmented pricing strategies that target specific customer groups.
  • Provide and validate strategic assumptions for business cases to ensure alignment with business plans and commercial strategy.
  • Introduce creative pricing, bundling, and packaging approaches that outperform current market deployments.
  • Collaborate with business units to develop business models and scenario frameworks that support planning and decision-making.
  • Work with Product Managers and Marketing Communications to ensure pricing is understandable, compelling, and consistent across touchpoints.
  • Collect and analyze competitor pricing and market performance, develop response options, and recommend actions that protect and grow market position.

2) Brand and Media Management

  • Develop and execute integrated brand communication and media plans in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Lead brand research, consumer insights, and market analysis to guide brand strategy and messaging.
  • Ensure consistent brand identity, clear messaging, and strong brand integrity across all channels and customer touchpoints.
  • Manage end-to-end brand and media campaigns including content development, marketing collateral, and approvals.
  • Implement initiatives that strengthen brand awareness, perception, and loyalty, and track performance using agreed KPIs.
  • Guide media strategy, evaluate media proposals, and optimize media performance by target segment.
  • Coordinate with media owners, agencies, and service providers, including contract negotiations and SLA management.
  • Manage production schedules, approval routing, and campaign timelines to ensure disciplined execution.
  • Improve internal processes that increase brand marketing efficiency and speed of delivery.
  • Provide insights, performance updates, and strategic support to business units and executive leadership.

Qualifications and Experience

Education

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Commerce, or a related field.
  • Postgraduate qualifications are an added advantage.
  • Industry and functional experience in relevant areas is an added advantage.

Work Experience

  • Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in a relevant area of specialization.
  • Strong experience in business analytics, pricing, market research, financial modelling, and product evaluation.
  • Proven experience supervising or managing teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Experience working in a medium to large organization with structured planning and performance management.
  • Prior experience in the mobile or telecom industry is an advantage.
  • Ability to influence management-level stakeholders in both group and one-on-one settings.
  • A disciplined, detail-oriented working style with the ability to operate strategically at the same time.

  • Strong understanding of products, services, and solution-based value propositions.
  • Systems and computer software proficiency, including data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Sound project management capability with structured planning and follow-through.
