Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and competent Security Manager to oversee and coordinate all safety operations at the New Pearl Business Park in Kampala. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing effective security measures to protect tenants, assets, and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise security personnel across shifts.
• Implement safety protocols and access control measures throughout the facility.
• Coordinate surveillance monitoring and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and incident investigations.
• Train staff in security best practices and emergency preparedness.
• Ensure compliance with all local security laws and standards.
• Develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the building’s safety.
• Maintain security logs and generate reports for senior management.
• Liaise with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.

Minimum Requirements

• Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) or higher.
• 5–7 years of experience in the security industry, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience managing security operations at commercial properties or business complexes.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and crisis management skills.
• Knowledge of modern security systems including CCTV, access control, and alarms.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Physically fit and mentally alert.
