Description

Security and Investigations Officer Job in Kampala – New Vision

Uganda Jobs Network brings you a senior security and risk management opportunity. New Vision is recruiting a Security and Investigations Officer to be based on a full-time basis. This role is responsible for implementing Vision Group’s safety and security risk management systems and leading investigations across the company’s areas of operation nationwide. This position is suitable for professionals seeking high-responsibility Jobs in Uganda in corporate security, investigations, and risk management.

If You Are Not Selected: How Security and Investigation Skills Can Become Self-Employment

If you apply for this Security and Investigations Officer role and are not selected, the skills required for this position can still be transformed into viable self-employment and consultancy opportunities in Uganda. Private companies, NGOs, schools, construction firms, media houses, and commercial institutions increasingly require corporate security management, investigations, and risk assessment services. With experience in security audits, investigations, and risk control, you can operate as an independent security consultant providing services such as workplace security assessments, fraud investigations, incident analysis, CCTV oversight, and staff security training. Many organizations prefer short-term or retainer-based security experts rather than maintaining full-time security departments. Professionals with investigation and report-writing expertise can also offer services in internal investigations, compliance reviews, and loss prevention support. Over time, these skills can grow into a registered security consultancy or investigative services firm working closely with law enforcement and legal professionals. At Uganda Jobs Network, we encourage applicants to view every security role as both an employment opportunity and a pathway to long-term professional independence.
