Job Summary

We are seeking dynamic and motivated Sales Representatives to join our team across Uganda. The successful candidates will be responsible for growing ITHUBA’s agent and retail network, acquiring new partners, achieving set sales targets, and ensuring consistent product visibility and service delivery.

This is a field-based sales position with openings in the following regions:

• 1 Representative – Western Region
• 1 Representative – Central Region
• 1 Representative – Northern Region
• 1 Representative – Eastern Region

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new sales leads through cold calling, field visits, referrals, and networking.
• Conduct live product demonstrations and training for potential agents, partners, and retailers.
• Negotiate and close deals with new agents and ensure timely onboarding.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.
• Achieve or exceed monthly and weekly sales targets and agent acquisition goals.
• Stay updated with product offerings, industry trends, and competitor activity.
• Prepare and submit detailed sales reports, territory plans, and performance updates to the Sales Manager.
• Work closely with internal departments such as Marketing, Finance, and Tech to support clients and resolve issues.
• Deliver first-level technical support to users of ITHUBA mobile applications.
• Facilitate ongoing training for agents and retailers to boost engagement and performance.
• Provide responsive customer service to agents, players, and other stakeholders in your region.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of proven field sales or business development experience, preferably in FMCG or telecom industries.
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Good organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
• Self-driven and goal-oriented with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a manual vehicle.
• Fluency in at least two local languages spoken in your target region is required.
• Applicants must reside in or be very familiar with the region for which they are applying.
