Job Purpose

The Receptionist-Apprentice will be responsible for welcoming clients, managing incoming calls, handling client inquiries and complaints, and ensuring smooth operations at the front office. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals seeking a career in customer service and administrative support within the banking sector.

Key Responsibilities

Walk-in Customer Service

  • Welcome and assist all walk-in clients with courtesy and professionalism.
  • Deliver excellent service and guide clients to relevant departments where necessary.

Complaint Handling

  • Gather and log customer complaints accurately in the bank’s complaint management system (BOC).
  • Follow up on issues that can be resolved at the first point of contact.

Mail and Records Management

  • Receive and register all hand-delivered documents and direct them to the appropriate mail center.
  • Record and handle all incoming and outgoing courier items for traceability.
  • Acknowledge and submit treasury bills into the treasury box every Wednesday.

Call Handling

  • Answer all calls on the general bank lines professionally and promptly.
  • Provide accurate information or transfer callers to the appropriate departments.

Facilities Management

  • Coordinate with Facilities Management to ensure that the reception, waiting area, and meeting rooms are clean and orderly.
  • Ensure air conditioners and lighting are well maintained and switched off at the end of each day.

Minimum Qualifications
