Description
Raw Materials Controller
Full-Time | Location: Kampala, Uganda
Deadline: 4th July 2025
Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA) is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Raw Materials Controller to manage raw material stock handling, ensure accurate inventory tracking, and supervise raw material store operations in accordance with company standards.
Reporting to: Unit Manager Processing
Key Responsibilities:

Ensure all raw materials are correctly stored in designated locations.

Verify that materials are labeled accurately in line with company standards.
-
Maintain compliance with the material master data for all inventory items.
-
Conduct routine stock takes—daily, monthly, and annually—and investigate variances.

Confirm the safe and intact return of materials to stock, ensuring quality condition.

Ensure all materials received meet company quality specifications.

Oversee quality inspections for all new material deliveries and ensure timely system updates.

Report and follow up on any non-conforming materials with the relevant teams.

Identify and report safety concerns related to raw material storage, in line with EOSH and Risk Assessment guidelines.

Lead and supervise the raw material stores team to ensure operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education:
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Stores Management, Inventory, Logistics Management, Procurement, or a related discipline.
Experience:
-
Minimum of 2 years’ operational experience in FMCG, warehousing, or materials handling.
Key Competencies:
-
Strong computer literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
-
Understanding of materials handling and inventory principles.
-
Familiarity with business management systems.
-
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
-
Document management and compliance tracking.
-
Knowledge of SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality) standards.
-
Ability to perform routine tasks with consistency and accuracy.
-
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
-
Teamwork and customer-focused mindset.
-
Planning, organizing, and supervisory abilities.
