Job Opportunity: Production Officers (4) – Full-time

About the Role

Quality Chemical Industries Limited (QCIL) is seeking to hire four (4) Production Officers to support manufacturing operations in line with cGMP, EHS, and operational excellence principles. Successful candidates will play a key role in ensuring consistent product quality and efficient pharmaceutical production.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with cGMP schedules and ALCOA+ documentation standards.
• Maintain and calibrate equipment, and supervise facility cleaning per SOPs.
• Execute manufacturing tasks per Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR) and SOPs.
• Maintain tool and spare part inventories; minimize equipment downtime.
• Support data integrity, performance tracking, and normalization activities.
• Analyze and report on Operational Excellence metrics (e.g., OEE, cycle times, utilization).
• Conduct DILO (Day in the Life Of) studies and track recommendations.
• Investigate root causes and implement effective CAPAs for quality compliance.
• Other duties as assigned by the Line Manager.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, Science Technology, or related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in Compression or Coating within a pharmaceutical company.
• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, continuous improvement, and data analytics.
• Strong skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and analytical visualization tools (Pareto, Waterfall, Pie, Bar, and Line charts).
• Ability to work in shifts and meet high-quality operational standards.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a team-oriented attitude.
