Job Summary
Marriott International is seeking a Personal Assistant to the General Manager to provide high-level administrative and clerical support to the General Manager and senior leadership team. The role involves managing correspondence, preparing reports, handling inquiries, organizing schedules, and ensuring smooth communication between management, employees, and guests. Key Duties and Responsibilities
1. Documentation and Reporting Support

Assist managers in preparing various reports and presentations.

Attend, transcribe, and distribute minutes for staff, executive committee, and departmental meetings.

Maintain filing systems, both physical and digital, to ensure easy document retrieval.

Manage giveaway/donation files and assist with reservations.
-
Provide general administrative support to managers and departments.
2. Supporting Correspondence
-
Compose, produce, and sign correspondence on routine matters.
-
Distribute memos, letters, and official communication as required.

Answer departmental phones and act as a receptionist for the General Manager and other executives.

Sort, manage, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail.
3. Customer Service and Relationship Management
-
Deliver services that exceed guest expectations to enhance satisfaction and retention.

Uphold quality standards by ensuring prompt and professional service delivery.

Collaborate with executives and peers to improve service quality and address concerns effectively.
4. Additional Responsibilities
-
Ensure VIP amenity requests from the GM/DOPS are processed in a timely manner.

Act on behalf of managers when authorized, including signing and releasing documents.

Communicate safety procedures, ensuring employee understanding and compliance.

Participate in meetings to plan, prioritize, and coordinate activities.

Collaborate across teams to gather information, resolve challenges, and achieve goals.

Provide timely updates to executives and peers regarding relevant information.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

Education:
-
High school diploma or GED with at least 1 year of experience in administrative assistance, clerical services, or a related field.
OR -
A 2-year diploma/degree from an accredited institution in Secretarial Studies, Business Administration, Hotel & Restaurant Management, or a related field (no work experience required).

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
