Job Summary

The Parts/Counter Sales Admin will be responsible for picking and supplying customer orders, generating quotations, managing back orders, and ensuring smooth sales administration. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with excellent customer service skills, strong product knowledge, and the ability to manage warehouse and counter operations efficiently.


Key Responsibilities

  • Pick and supply customer orders accurately and on time.

  • Proactively initiate additional sales whenever possible.

  • Produce accurate and timely customer quotations.

  • Follow up on customer back orders and maintain regular contact with clients.

  • Provide cover for Warehouseman or Workshop Counterman during staff shortages.

  • Perform any other warehouse or counter-related tasks as assigned.

  • Share skills with trainees as part of the Department’s Traineeship Program or receive training in coaching and workplace assessment as required.


Qualifications, Skills & Experience

Education & Professional Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Procurement, Business Administration, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

  • Preference will be given to candidates with a parts/sales administration background.

Technical & Professional Skills:

  • Strong computer literacy, with the ability to use common office and inventory management software.

  • Knowledge of Electronic Parts Catalogue (EPC) systems.

  • Proven ability to handle customer parts requirements for both sales and service.

  • Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English (bilingual abilities are an added advantage).

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role within a warehouse, sales, or industrial parts environment.

Personal Attributes:

  • Customer-focused with excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Highly organized, with strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Willingness to train or mentor junior staff members.
