Job Summary

Crane Management Services is currently looking for an experienced Painter to join our facilities team. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing painting and surface preparation tasks across the New Pearl Business Park. This role requires hands-on expertise, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of paint materials, surface types, and maintenance procedures in large commercial settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out painting assignments for interior and exterior surfaces of the property.
• Inspect surfaces, prepare them by cleaning, sanding, and priming where needed.
• Mix and match paint colors, ensuring uniformity and consistency across large areas.
• Apply paint using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment depending on surface type and scope.
• Repair damaged walls, fill cracks, and smooth surfaces before painting.
• Ensure paint coatings are weather-resistant and long-lasting.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper storage of tools, paints, and materials.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing tasks at various building heights.
• Keep a maintenance log of painting schedules, completed tasks, and material usage.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) or equivalent.
• 5–7 years of practical work experience as a professional painter in commercial or industrial facilities.
• Proficiency in handling various painting tools, finishes, and techniques.
• Knowledge of modern paint materials, their applications, and safety precautions.
• Good physical stamina and ability to work at heights or confined areas if needed.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team.
• Time management skills and reliability in completing scheduled painting projects.
