Nutritionist – Digital Content & Product Advisory Job Vacancy Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate Nutritionist – Digital Content & Product Advisory to join our public awareness and entrepreneurship support initiatives. This part-time consultancy role offers an exciting opportunity to educate Ugandan families about healthy eating through digital platforms and supporting small food producers in improving the nutritional quality of their products. You’ll collaborate with our media team to produce short, engaging videos and occasionally provide advisory support to MSEMs working on food and nutrition products. This is a low-commitment role requiring availability of just 1 to 2 days per month.

Key Responsibilities of a Nutritionist – Digital Content & Product Advisory Job Vacancy

Main Role: Digital Content Creation

• Co-develop scripts for educational videos on nutrition and healthy living.
• Record and present short-form video content for social media platforms.
• Translate technical nutrition information into simple, relatable language.
• Support campaign design and engage with viewers through live Q&As or feedback sessions.

Additional Role: Product Advisory for MSEMs

• Analyze and evaluate food products created by partner entrepreneurs.
• Provide expert advice on improving nutritional value while keeping products affordable.
• Support the development of nutrition labels and consumer messaging.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, Public Health, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in practical nutrition consultancy or advisory work.
• Strong communication and public speaking skills; confident on camera.
• Proficient in presenting evidence-based information to a non-technical audience.
• Available to participate in person in Kampala at least once per month.
