Job Summary

City Ambulance Limited is hiring a highly skilled and efficient Medical Dispatcher to support the coordination of emergency medical services. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving and managing ambulance calls, directing emergency response teams, and overseeing pre-hospital care operations. The role demands quick thinking, calmness under pressure, and excellent communication skills to ensure rapid and accurate response to medical emergencies.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive incoming emergency calls and dispatch ambulances to appropriate locations.
• Coordinate and monitor pre-hospital emergency response operations in real-time.
• Ensure clear and effective communication with drivers, medics, and healthcare facilities.
• Support medical teams by providing logistics and coordination guidance during emergency calls.
• Maintain accurate call records, dispatch logs, and incident tracking reports.
• Participate in reviewing response times and recommend process improvements.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and/or Public Health.
• Qualification in Project Planning and Management is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in medical operations coordination, preferably in emergency settings.
• Experience in a call center or dispatch environment is desirable.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stay calm and make clear decisions in high-pressure situations.
• Proficiency in emergency coordination software and tools is a plus.
• Strong organizational and reporting skills.
