Job Summary

NIC General is looking for a talented and results-oriented Marketing Officer to drive revenue growth and enhance client retention. The ideal candidate will actively promote and sell insurance products, foster strong client relationships, and contribute to the development of innovative solutions that align with market trends and company goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate and close sales leads by sourcing business from prospective clients.
• Conduct presentations to promote NIC products and services to potential clients.
• Advise clients on completing proposal and claim forms and explain product terms and conditions.
• Maintain accurate client records to support business retention strategies.
• Review and analyze submitted proposals, and recommend suitable coverage to underwriters.
• Prepare and present weekly performance reports and updates on client pipelines.
• Proactively follow up on account renewals and liaise with underwriters on expiration lists.
• Schedule appointments with existing and new prospects for business development.
• Support the development and improvement of insurance products based on market insights.
• Contribute to marketing strategies, business plans, and performance improvement measures.
• Submit timely sales reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually).
• Ensure timely and professional responses to client feedback and inquiries.
• Collect premiums in accordance with the company’s Credit Control Policy (cash-and-carry basis).
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of a Diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Certificate of Proficiency in Insurance is required.
• At least 3 years of experience in the insurance industry.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and report writing abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet).
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines under pressure.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality customer service.
