Job Description

DFCU Bank is seeking a highly experienced and innovative Marketing Manager – Retail to lead the brand and marketing strategy within its retail division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building DFCU’s brand equity, driving customer engagement, and creating value across marketing channels and customer touchpoints. This position will report directly to the Head, Marketing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute brand strategy aligned with DFCU’s commercial goals and purpose.
  • Define and uphold brand architecture and ensure consistent application across platforms.
  • Deeply understand the retail banking business and growth drivers to create impactful marketing plans.
  • Lead multi-channel marketing initiatives in alignment with strategic priorities.
  • Establish and refine campaign measurement and reporting tools, extracting insights to drive future strategy.
  • Analyze brand performance using metrics like Net Promoter Score and competitor benchmarking.
  • Partner with the retail business to understand target customers and design personalized engagement strategies.
  • Leverage data to increase wallet share and execute meaningful communications to current clients.
  • Manage retail sponsorships to build brand visibility and stakeholder relationships.
  • Identify key partnerships and branding opportunities that align with the bank’s vision.
  • Ensure collaboration between Marketing, Retail, and other internal teams.
  • Oversee external agencies to ensure marketing execution meets expectations and timelines.
  • Execute campaigns across TV, radio, digital, OOH, merchandising, and emerging media.
  • Monitor marketing budgets and ensure expenditures align with approved plans.
  • Lead and mentor marketing team members through effective performance and talent management.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Marketing specialization or postgraduate qualification is an added advantage.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Marketing and Communications, preferably in a corporate or banking setting.
  • Strong track record of brand development and customer loyalty building.
  • Experience with marketing execution across traditional, digital, in-store, and experiential platforms.
  • Strong leadership and project management abilities to drive complex, cross-functional initiatives.
