Manager – Senior Enterprise Coverage

Stanbic Bank Uganda, a member of the Standard Bank Group, is hiring a Manager – Senior Enterprise Coverage to lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the Enterprise Business Banking team. This role is crucial in driving revenue growth, managing customer portfolios, and ensuring excellent service delivery for Enterprise clients.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading Business Bankers to meet defined operational targets, delivering innovative financial solutions, and managing customer relationships with a focus on sales, risk, and compliance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise the Business Bankers (Enterprise segment) to achieve defined revenue and operational goals.

  • Drive sales and service excellence by implementing proactive customer relationship strategies.

  • Identify financial solutions for enterprise customers from a wide portfolio of banking products and services.

  • Manage, monitor, and optimize the performance of the enterprise portfolio in line with business strategy.

  • Support and remove operational obstacles to facilitate team efficiency and customer satisfaction.

  • Develop and maintain strong, value-adding relationships with new and existing clients.

  • Ensure adherence to credit, compliance, and risk management protocols.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across various departments to deliver end-to-end solutions.

  • Champion digital banking adoption and financial inclusion strategies within the Enterprise segment.


Qualifications & Experience

Education:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, or a related field.

  • Professional certification in finance or banking is an added advantage.

Experience:

  • 5–7 years’ experience in Enterprise or Commercial Banking, with a proven sales track record.

  • Strong knowledge of financial products, credit structures, and banking regulations.

  • Experience in leading teams, motivating individuals, and driving performance.

  • Expertise in compliance, credit risk, and relationship management.

  • Demonstrated success in business development and client portfolio growth.
