We are hiring qualified and motivated individuals to train and work in Germany as Machinery Operators (Baugeräteführer). This unique program includes visa sponsorship, language training, technical education, and international certification for eligible candidates. As a Machinery Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy-duty construction equipment such as cranes, excavators, bulldozers, backhoes, and tracked vehicles. This role combines practical on-site construction experience with structured vocational training supported by the employer. You will also receive foundational knowledge in diesel engines, hydraulics, and advanced machine safety protocols.

What the Role Entails: Machinery Operator (Baugeräteführer) - Jobs in Uganda

  • Operating various types of heavy machinery on construction sites under supervision and with increasing independence.
  • Participating in practical training programs on modern construction equipment and site operations.
  • Completing classroom-based vocational modules on engine mechanics, hydraulic systems, and machine maintenance.
  • Learning and applying German occupational safety and compliance standards.
  • Working collaboratively with construction teams on infrastructure and commercial projects across Germany.
  • Adapting to weather, terrain, and environmental factors commonly associated with outdoor and mechanical labor.

Minimum Requirements - Machinery Operator (Baugeräteführer) - Jobs in Uganda

Applicants must meet the following requirements to be considered:
  • Must be a Ugandan citizen with a valid National ID. (A passport will be needed for visa processing.)
  • Minimum of 2 years’ hands-on experience in operating heavy construction or agricultural machinery.
  • Basic understanding of mechanical systems and technologies related to construction equipment.
  • Technical or vocational training in mechanical, electrical, or construction engineering fields is highly preferred.
  • Completion of O-Level or A-Level education (academic transcripts required).
  • Physically fit and medically cleared to work in a physically demanding role.
  • Clear criminal record as required for German visa and background screening.
  • Willingness and commitment to undergo intensive German language training up to B1 level (required for work placement).
  • Ability to work well as part of a team, follow instructions, and demonstrate responsibility on-site.
  • Submission of a short self-introduction video (maximum 60 seconds) explaining why you should be selected.
