Description
- Deliver Core Curriculum by teaching literacy, numeracy, and science in alignment with the Cambridge International Curriculum, ensuring engaging and effective instruction.
- Foster Study Skills by Supporting students in developing strong organizational habits, time management, and self-reflection to promote independent learning.
- Provide Constructive Feedback by monitor student progress and offer timely, meaningful feedback to guide academic growth.
- Support Social and Emotional Development by building strong, supportive relationships with students and model positive social behaviors such as empathy, cooperation, and conflict resolution.
- Create a Safe Learning Environment by establishing a welcoming and emotionally safe classroom that encourages student expression and well-being.
- Implement clear routines, promote responsible behavior, and use positive reinforcement strategies to maintain a respectful and productive classroom.
- Communicate regularly with parents about student development and collaborate with fellow teachers and support staff to meet individual learning needs.
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities, including students with special educational needs and English language learners.
- Use a variety of assessment tools to evaluate student learning and adjust instruction accordingly.
- Contribute to a classroom culture rooted in respect, inclusivity, and the school’s core values.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or relevant field (PGCE or equivalent is an advantage)
- Experience teaching in a lower primary setting (Years 1–4), preferably within an international or Cambridge curriculum school
- Strong classroom management and student engagement skills
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to nurturing the whole child, academically, socially, and emotionally
