Job Summary

Adara Development is seeking a dynamic and experienced Knowledge Sharing Manager to lead the documentation, development, and dissemination of insights, tools, and evidence from our Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health (MNCH) programmes. This full-time position is based in Kampala, Uganda and plays a central role in influencing policy and practice through strategic knowledge sharing both regionally and globally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic planning and execution of knowledge sharing initiatives.
  • Document and translate technical findings into high-quality, accessible knowledge products.
  • Develop and disseminate tools, case studies, reports, and digital content to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Engage with government entities, academic institutions, and implementation partners to expand reach and impact.
  • Ensure alignment of knowledge sharing outputs with Uganda’s national MNCH priorities.
  • Oversee the management and curation of knowledge repositories and learning platforms.
  • Support capacity building initiatives and organize learning forums and stakeholder engagements.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Global Health, Health Communications, Knowledge Management, or a related field. Clinical background is a plus.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in public health, knowledge sharing, or communications within the MNCH or healthcare sector.
  • Demonstrated success in designing and evaluating knowledge sharing initiatives.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information into user-friendly formats.
  • Familiarity with Uganda’s health system and national priorities related to MNCH.
  • Experience working with government, academia, or development partners is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital content tools; knowledge of online learning platforms or content management systems is beneficial.
  • Basic design and layout skills are desirable.
  • Strong project management, collaboration, and organizational abilities.
