About the Role

KCB Bank Uganda is seeking an experienced professional to oversee the efficient management of Electronic Banking Operations. The role involves driving operational excellence, ensuring seamless service delivery across digital channels, and managing risk and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and enforce E-Banking policies and procedures
  • Manage operations across digital channels like Mobile Banking, Online Banking, ATMs, Agency Banking, Card Services, etc.
  • Identify and resolve service failures promptly
  • Monitor and clear reconciliation items in settlements and transfer accounts
  • Lead process improvement initiatives and manage risk exposure
  • Ensure compliance with AML/CFT, KYC, and data privacy policies
  • Manage team performance, training, and development
  • Coordinate with service providers and validate invoices
  • Control channel operations costs and prevent fraud or regulatory breaches
  • Support company-wide projects and enhance customer experience through innovation

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Statistics, or related field
  • Certified banking qualification or Master's degree is an advantage
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience with 2 in banking operations management
  • Knowledge of card, ATM, mobile banking, and digital channel operations
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and operational risk management
