Under TechBuzz Hub is GPAP, a hands-on skilling program designed to provide strong practical experience in a short time. GPAP is built to help graduates, career changers, and holiday makers gain work experience, mentorship, coaching, exposure, professional connections, and stronger competitiveness for the job market. GPAP is designed to deliver a structured learning journey that can feel like extended experience within a short period. Participants who stay consistent and dedicated are positioned for strong outcomes, including opportunities to start earning even before completing the program and improved chances of job placement after completion. GPAP is highly competitive and accepts only five participants in each monthly cohort.Role Summary
TechBuzz Hub is seeking a motivated Software Engineer Trainee to join the team under the GPAP program. This role provides an opportunity to learn from experienced professionals, work on practical software projects, and strengthen core software engineering skills in a team environment focused on innovation and entrepreneurship. The trainee will collaborate with a dynamic team, participate in guided learning and project execution, and build strong habits in software development, documentation, testing, teamwork, and problem solving. The program suits candidates who are ready to grow fast, take feedback well, and consistently improve.Key Learning Areas and Responsibilities
- Support the development of web or software applications under the guidance of experienced mentors.
- Participate in planning, writing, testing, and improving code for assigned tasks and projects.
- Work with common development tools and workflows, including version control and basic deployment practices.
- Collaborate with team members to understand requirements, propose solutions, and deliver outcomes.
- Learn to troubleshoot software issues using structured debugging and problem-solving approaches.
- Participate in reviews and feedback sessions to improve code quality and engineering practices.
- Document learning progress, technical decisions, and key project updates as required.
- Build confidence in communication, teamwork, and professional delivery in a real work environment.
Qualifications and Requirements
A background in software engineering or development, computer science, or IT is suitable for this opportunity.- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, PHP, or related technologies.
- Familiarity with software development frameworks and tools such as Django or other modern development stacks.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Good communication and collaboration skills for teamwork and learning.
