Job Summary

An Insurance Company is hiring Salespersons to support business growth through customer acquisition, relationship management, and consistent sales performance. The successful candidates will identify potential customers, present insurance solutions, execute sales strategies, and achieve set targets while maintaining strong client relationships and delivering after-sales support.

This role suits a confident and disciplined sales professional who communicates clearly, handles objections professionally, and consistently follows up to close deals. The job involves active customer engagement and the ability to represent the company with integrity and professionalism.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identify and approach potential customers through field activity, referrals, calls, and networking.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to increase retention and repeat business.
  • Present and explain insurance products and services clearly, matching solutions to client needs.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with business goals and assigned targets.
  • Negotiate with customers, address concerns, and close sales effectively.
  • Provide after-sales support, including client follow-ups and basic guidance on service processes.
  • Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and keep accurate records of leads, meetings, and outcomes.
  • Track market trends and competitor activity to improve sales positioning and customer conversations.
  • Prepare and submit sales activity reports as required by the Sales Manager.
  • Represent the company professionally and uphold customer confidentiality and ethical selling practices.

Minimum Requirements

  • All applicants must have a valid National ID.
  • Minimum education requirement is a Diploma or Degree.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Strong sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to close deals effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence in customer engagement.
  • Strong relationship management skills and a customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to develop strategic approaches to meet sales targets and business goals.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple clients or tasks at the same time.
  • Knowledge of market trends and competitor analysis is an advantage.
  • Problem-solving skills and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
  • Previous experience in sales or a similar role is an added advantage.
  • Education background in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus.
