JDA Systems Analyst (WMS)

Role Purpose
DHL Uganda is hiring a JDA Systems Analyst to manage WMS postings and controls, reduce inventory loss risk and exposure, and ensure accurate stock levels across all locations and SKUs. The role supports daily warehouse operations through timely transaction posting, inventory reconciliation, FIFO compliance, reporting, and KPI performance tracking, while serving as a key WMS contact for the client.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
1) Inventory Accuracy and Reconciliation
-
Perform WMS versus physical stock reconciliation and investigate variances.

Maintain accurate stock levels in JDA WMS for all locations and SKUs.

Monitor inventory aging and stocking levels to support optimal inventory health and availability.

Participate in monthly stock counts and support accurate variance resolution.
2) WMS Transaction Posting and Control
-
Ensure accurate and timely posting of inbound stock receipts and outbound orders, and share daily JDA reports.

Post non-conforming stocks accurately, including inbound discrepancies and warehouse damages.

Ensure timely pick confirmations and share daily outbound performance reports.

Generate accurate pick lists and ensure system alignment for picking activities using JDA.

Ensure all documents and transactions follow site SOPs and work instructions.
3) Process Compliance and Warehouse Standards

Maintain bin location accuracy at a target of 99.9%.

Ensure real-time system alignment before operations start each day.

Ensure adherence to FIFO and participate in FIFO audits.
-
Understand site rules and ensure compliance across all system-related warehouse processes.
4) Stock Take and Client Standards
-
Ensure stock take process accuracy in line with agreed client standards.
-
Support audit readiness by maintaining proper posting evidence, documentation, and reporting trails.
5) Performance Reporting and KPI Management
-
Capture, process, and maintain site KPI reports including picking rates and loading productivity.

Provide regular performance updates and support continuous improvement through accurate reporting.

Serve as the key contact for the client on WMS-related matters, including postings, controls, and reporting.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
Education
-
Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or another related business discipline.
Experience
-
2 to 3 years’ experience in warehouse or logistics operations.

Experience using WMS systems (JDA and or SAP is an advantage).
