Role Overview: Installation Supervisor

As an Installation Supervisor, you will be the driving force behind the successful execution of installation projects, managing daily operations and installer teams to ensure quality, timely delivery, and customer satisfaction. Your technical know-how combined with leadership skills will ensure adherence to standards and achievement of installation targets.

Key Responsibilities

Coordination & Team Management

• Coordinate daily installation appointments with dispatch teams to optimize schedules.

• Oversee transportation and staging of installation materials to customer sites.

• Lead and supervise installer clusters, ensuring a minimum of 2 installations per installer per day.

• Conduct daily gate meetings to enforce work governance and team accountability.

• Track attendance and performance of installers daily, addressing gaps proactively.

Installation Management & Reporting

• Monitor and track job ticket statuses to ensure timely closure and fulfillment.

• Manage inventory reconciliation — ensuring accessories and devices are properly accounted for.

• Approve requests for additional installation materials or customer payment collections as required.

• Supervise installer compliance with KYC kits and toolbox availability for smooth onboarding and installations.

• Reconcile and report paid but unfulfilled installation tickets within 24 hours, liaising with customers and management.

• Compile and submit daily work reports along with time sheets for management review.

• Handle return/refund approvals when installations fail customer acceptance.

Training & Performance

• Lead onboarding and technical training of new installers to maintain high quality standards.

• Conduct regular performance management, providing feedback and coaching installers to meet targets and improve skills.

• Manage challenges related to complex installation requests and non-traditional workspaces (e.g., rooftops, basements).

Required Qualifications & Experience

Mandatory

• Minimum Diploma or equivalent qualification in relevant fields.

• At least 5 years’ experience in telecom, ISP, or related technical roles.

• Proven expertise in fiber splicing, wireless microwave installations, and GPON fiber optics technology.

• Strong experience with outdoor telecom equipment installation and maintenance.

• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage end-to-end installation projects successfully.
