Location: Kampala, Uganda Industry: Human Resource / Banking Application Deadline: 30th June 2025 BRAC Uganda Bank Ltd is looking for a highly motivated and qualified individual to join its team as an HR Manager, Shared Services. The role is responsible for managing staff resourcing, benefits administration, and HR process automation in alignment with the Bank’s digitization strategy. Reports to: Head of Human ResourcesMain Responsibilities:
- Manage recruitment processes across all departments in close coordination with department heads.
- Ensure optimal staffing levels by regularly assessing workforce needs and recommending appropriate actions.
- Oversee staff benefits administration, ensuring timely processing of claims, updates, and policy changes.
- Manage employee exit procedures in line with Bank policy and regulatory compliance.
- Act as the central control point for HR, ensuring adherence to internal policies and external regulations.
- Conduct training and guidance sessions for employees on HR policies and regulatory compliance.
- Lead document management efforts to ensure secure and organized employee records.
- Oversee HR service providers to support smooth delivery of HR services.
- Manage and develop HR unit staff in line with the division’s work plan and Bank strategy.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Social Sciences, or Organizational Psychology.
- 1–3 years of supervisory experience, ideally in a financial services institution.
- Good understanding of banking laws, policies, and regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in managing multiple priorities and projects.
- Detail-oriented with high accuracy and precision.
- A Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource Management is an added advantage.
