Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to manage daily cleaning and upkeep duties at the New Pearl Business Park. The successful candidate will ensure the cleanliness, orderliness, and hygiene of all designated areas, while maintaining the company's standards for facility maintenance and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and participate in routine cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, hallways, and other public areas.
• Ensure daily upkeep and presentation of lobbies, elevators, and shared spaces.
• Monitor cleaning supplies inventory and inform management when restocking is required.
• Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards promptly to supervisors.
• Organize cleaning schedules for team members and ensure timely task completion.
• Adhere to company cleanliness standards and sanitation policies at all times.
• Handle special cleaning tasks such as carpet shampooing, window cleaning, and deep cleaning as needed.
• Support emergency cleaning tasks or unscheduled needs when required.

Minimum Requirements

• Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) or equivalent.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in housekeeping, facility cleaning, or janitorial services—preferably in commercial or business complexes.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple cleaning areas efficiently.
• Quick response to unexpected cleaning needs or incidents.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Physical ability to carry out cleaning tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for long hours.
