Job Summary

Marriott International is seeking a Hotel Driver to provide safe, reliable, and professional transportation services for guests. The successful candidate will ensure that all vehicle operations meet the highest standards of safety, cleanliness, and hospitality. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about customer service and attentive to detail while ensuring smooth travel experiences for all hotel guests.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Safely transport guests to and from assigned destinations using the hotel’s property vehicle.

• Document all trips at the start and end of each journey.

• Park vehicles in designated locations when not in use.

• Inspect hotel vehicles daily for damage, cleanliness, tire pressure, and fluid levels.

• Refuel vehicles as needed and promptly notify supervisors of maintenance issues.

• Report and document all incidents (accidents, damages, or irregularities) to management.

• Complete all safety training and certifications as required by Marriott.

• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and uniform standards.

• Provide warm, professional greetings to guests, assisting with their needs, including support for individuals with disabilities.

• Communicate clearly with guests and staff using professional language and hotel communication devices.

• Protect company assets and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.

• Build positive working relationships with fellow team members.

• Follow quality assurance and service standards consistently.

• Perform physical tasks including lifting, carrying, standing, or walking for extended periods.

• Navigate safely over uneven surfaces, stairs, ramps, and slippery areas.

• Carry out other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

• Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

• Work Experience: No prior related experience required (on-the-job training provided).

• License: Valid driver’s license is mandatory.

• Other Requirements:

  • Professional appearance and conduct.

  • Strong communication and customer service skills.

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds without assistance (up to 75 pounds with assistance).

  • Physical fitness to perform extended standing, walking, and manual handling duties.

  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and evenings.
