Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire the kitchen team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration.
  • Design and implement seasonal, trend-forward menus that align with Hugamara’s culinary identity and customer preferences.
  • Oversee food quality, presentation, and hygiene to ensure every dish meets the highest standards.
  • Manage inventory, control food costs, and source top-quality ingredients.
  • Train and develop kitchen staff to ensure consistent performance and career growth.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and refine culinary strategies.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen that complies with all health and safety regulations.

What We’re Looking For

  • At least 5 years of experience in a culinary leadership role, preferably as a Head Chef or Sous Chef in a fine dining or high-volume kitchen.
  • Proven expertise in menu development, kitchen operations, and food cost control.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to motivate and lead by example.
  • Deep understanding of food safety standards and best practices.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for innovation in the kitchen.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Resilient and calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
