Key Duties and Responsibilities

As a Graduate Management Trainee in Marketing, you will support various marketing and communication functions, with a strong focus on digital marketing, brand execution, internal engagement, and public relations.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting digital marketing efforts across social media, online campaigns, and digital platforms.

  • Assisting in trade marketing and activations to drive customer engagement and product awareness.

  • Tracking and compiling marketing and communications reports for performance analysis.

  • Assisting in the coordination of sustainability initiatives, ensuring alignment with brand values.

  • Supporting the execution of brand campaigns to enhance visibility, positioning, and market presence.

  • Collaborating with the external marketing agency to develop monthly content calendars.

  • Providing editorial and creative support for internal and external communication materials.

  • Supporting the coordination of corporate events, sponsorships, and brand activations.

  • Managing social media pages for executive committee members with a focus on thought leadership.

  • Supporting initiatives aimed at employee engagement and internal brand promotion.

  • Capturing, editing, and curating content—photos and videos—for various digital platforms.


Required Qualifications and Skills

Minimum Academic Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing Communication or a related field (required).

Core Competencies:

  • Strong communication skills – both written and verbal.

  • High level of creativity and passion for storytelling across digital media.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in a team.

  • Self-starter with the ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.

  • Good planning and organizational skills.

  • Interest in corporate sustainability, social impact, and brand management.

Technical Skills (Added Advantage):

  • Basic knowledge of graphic design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).

  • Ability to shoot and edit photos and videos for social media.

  • Working knowledge of digital marketing platforms, including social media scheduling tools.

  • Copywriting skills for digital campaigns and internal communications.
