Job Summary

The Fulfillment Manager will oversee all aspects of warehouse and logistics operations, ensuring efficient delivery of goods, adherence to company policies, and exceptional customer service. This role requires strategic planning, strong leadership, and in-depth knowledge of supply chain logistics within the Ugandan market.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead warehouse and logistics strategy, implementing SOPs and best practices.
• Manage inventory levels, ensure timely order fulfillment (OTIF), and reduce operational inefficiencies.
• Oversee the performance of third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and fleet operations.
• Ensure safety standards, compliance with policies, and optimal use of resources.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align supply and demand planning.
• Ensure high levels of customer service and delivery performance.
• Monitor KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives across the warehousing function.
• Coach and lead a high-performing warehouse and logistics team, promoting a strong performance culture.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field. Master’s degree is an added advantage.
• 5–6 years of experience in warehouse/logistics operations, with 2+ years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse procedures, inventory control, and logistics systems.
• Experience with FMCG, retail, or manufacturing environments is preferred.
• Excellent people management, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
• Proficient in warehouse software, Microsoft Suite, and performance metrics (KPIs).
• Strong health and safety awareness and process improvement mindset.
