Human Capital Business Solutions Ltd is seeking a competent Financial Analyst to provide critical insights on financial performance, trends, and risks. This role supports financial planning, budgeting, analysis of financial statements, and development of financial models for the FMCG sector. The Financial Analyst contributes to achieving organizational goals including profit maximization, cost optimization, correct pricing of goods, and working capital management.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of annual/quarterly business plans and operating plan presentations.

• Perform replacement margin analysis by business units and recommend selling price adjustments.

• Collaborate with teams to calculate and monitor savings from planned initiatives across categories, value chains, and value streams.

• Assist in working capital management (Inventories, Receivables) and review with line manager.

• Prepare monthly flash reports within the 3rd working day and review with line manager.

• Prepare monthly business performance presentations for categories, value streams, and business units.

• Conduct Opex analysis, report yield/production losses, and communicate with operations and manufacturing teams.

• Review the landed-cost matrix to ensure accurate material costing and update standard costs for inventories.

• Assist in preparing annual/quarterly budgets including volumes, revenue, cost of production, Opex, and net contribution by category.

• Analyze Price Purchase Variance (PPV) and Price Exchange Variance (PEV), and review standard cost revaluations in profit and loss accounts.

• Support evaluation and review of capital proposals with the line manager.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting.

• 1–2 years’ experience in a similar role; experience in the Food and Beverages industry is a plus.

• Professional accounting certifications preferred: ACCA, CMA, ICWA, CA, or CPA.

• Understanding of SAP ERP systems is an added advantage.

• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

• Result-oriented with attention to detail.
