Job Purpose

The Finance Accounts Associate will support financial planning, reporting, cost control, tax compliance, and operational finance processes. The role contributes to engagement profitability, risk management, and informed decision-making across the firm.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial and Management Reporting

  • Prepare weekly financial performance reports.
  • Review general ledger balances and support monthly reconciliations.
  • Prepare analytical monthly Profit and Loss reports with focus on expense control.
  • Support annual financial close and external audit coordination.
  • Contribute to budgeting and monthly performance tracking.
  • Conduct variance analysis comparing actual performance to budget.

2. Accounts Payables Management

  • Maintain accurate vendor records.
  • Process and reconcile local and international transactions.
  • Prepare monthly payment plans aligned with credit terms.
  • Ensure compliant declaration and payment of VAT and WHT.
  • Review tax ledgers to mitigate potential risks.

3. Business and Operational Support

  • Monitor engagement metrics and identify anomalies.
  • Support engagement managers in tracking collections and financial performance.
  • Act as liaison between finance and client-serving teams.
  • Ensure accurate posting of client-related expenses.
  • Provide insights to improve operational efficiency and working capital management.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related finance discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in a fast-paced finance environment is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Excel.
  • Understanding of EFRIS systems.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
