Available Degree Programs for August 2025 Intake
1. Bachelor of Rural Development (BRD)
The Bachelor of Rural Development (BRD) is a four-year degree program accredited by Uganda’s National Council for Higher Education (NCHE). It is structured to provide a robust mix of academic knowledge and practical experience.
Program Highlights:

3 years of classroom learning (two semesters per year, 17 weeks each).

1 full year of practical fieldwork to gain real-world experience.

Curriculum split: 60% theory + 40% hands-on application.

Trains students in sustainable development, community mobilization, and rural leadership.
Entry Requirements:

Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) with at least two principal passes in one sitting.

Diploma holders in Arts, Science, or Humanities from recognized institutions.

Successful candidates of the Mature Age Entry exam administered by NCHE.

2. Bachelor of Science in Sustainable Agriculture (BSSA)
Passionate about agriculture and food systems? The Bachelor of Science in Sustainable Agriculture (BSSA) trains students to become agricultural innovators who understand how to grow food sustainably while preserving the environment.

Covers sustainable crop and animal production, agroecology, soil science, and climate-smart agriculture.
