Job Summary
As a Data Collection Assistant, you will be responsible for gathering accurate information from assigned locations within Nakawa Division. This will involve extensive walking, recording information on designated forms or digital devices, and ensuring strict adherence to data privacy and confidentiality standards. You will report directly to a Field Supervisor and play a vital role in the successful execution of Mzuzi Group’s data collection projects.
Key Duties and Responsibilities

Field Visits: Walk to and from assigned areas in Nakawa Division to collect required data.

Accurate Recording: Capture data precisely using either paper forms or mobile/digital tools provided by Mzuzi Group.

Confidentiality: Ensure that all collected information remains private and secure, following strict confidentiality protocols.

Daily Reporting: Submit daily progress updates to your Field Supervisor, including any challenges encountered in the field.

Compliance with Guidelines: Follow all operational and safety protocols during field activities.

Community Interaction: Engage respectfully with respondents and maintain professionalism at all times.
Minimum Requirements

Education: At least O-Level completion.

Physical Stamina: Ability to walk long distances daily under varying weather conditions.

Basic Literacy Skills: Ability to read and write clearly in English.

Reliability: Honest, dependable, and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Technology Use: Must own a smartphone to facilitate digital data collection.

Local Knowledge: Familiarity with Nakawa Division is an added advantage.
Compensation and Benefits

Daily Fee: UGX 10,000, paid weekly or bi-weekly depending on preference.
