Job Summary
Raising The Village (RTV) is seeking a skilled Data Analyst – Program Monitoring to join the Analytics Unit within the VENN department. The role is key to managing, analyzing, and interpreting program data to inform decision-making and enhance program effectiveness. The Data Analyst will develop dashboards, run economic models, prepare reports, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to measure and improve the impact of RTV programs.
The VENN department serves as RTV’s data and technology backbone, linking advanced analytics with field implementation to ensure data-informed decisions at every level.
Key Responsibilities
Program Monitoring (70%)
-
Design, develop, and maintain data collection and aggregation pipelines for program monitoring reporting.

Prepare comprehensive quarterly Master Scorecard reports and dashboards.

Conduct data quality checks to ensure compliance with RTV data standards.

Train Data Collectors on data collection methods and best practices.
-
Analyze program outputs and outcomes to assess performance.
-
Prepare reports summarizing RTV activity reach and impact.

Engage stakeholders by sharing insights and contributing to discussions based on report findings.
Support & Collaboration (20%)

Train Program Assistants, Program Officers, and Data Collectors on surveys (AHS/SE).

Assist in evaluating data and conducting deep-dive analyses for impact reports.

Support donor reporting through accurate and timely data analysis.
-
Act as a liaison between program monitoring and other RTV departments.
-
Contribute to the implementation of strategic work plans for monitoring activities.

Develop and update data collection training manuals.
-
Provide end-of-program reports in coordination with key stakeholders.
Research (10%)
-
Conduct economic research and trend analysis to guide program interventions.
-
Identify best practices and tools for Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) integration.

Apply econometric and statistical methods to interpret complex datasets.
-
Stay updated on developments in economics, data analysis, and M&E practices to recommend innovative approaches.
Qualifications & Skills
-
Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Quantitative Economics, Mathematics, or related field.
-
Minimum 3 years of experience in data management, analysis, program monitoring, evaluation, or reporting.

Proficiency in R, Python, STATA, Alteryx, and MS Excel.

Experience in data visualization tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, or Shiny is an advantage.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a results-oriented mindset.

Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting complex data clearly.

Experience in participatory research and working with rural communities is beneficial.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
