Sinapis is seeking a detail-oriented and people-centric Community Administrator to manage front-facing operations, coworking sales, and member engagement at our entrepreneurship hub in Kampala. This role also supports basic finance and administrative functions across our Uganda team. - Serve as the welcoming face of the Sinapis hub, performing receptionist duties and providing exceptional client support.
- Lead the coworking sales process, including generating leads, conducting space tours, and meeting quarterly sales targets.
- Support the coordination and seamless execution of events and rentals by managing logistics and providing on-site support.
- Supervise office stewards to ensure consistent facility maintenance and cleanliness.
- Provide basic IT troubleshooting, especially during events and rentals.
- Maintain accurate records for office purchases, procurement, and petty cash transactions.
- Manage vendor relationships (e.g., suppliers, caterers) and office procurement.
- Act as the point person for internal office policies, inquiries, and conflict resolution.
- Respond to in-person program inquiries and support program sales efforts.
- Organize and reconcile financial documentation including petty cash reports, receipts, vendor invoices, and reimbursement summaries.
- Track event and rental income, assist with invoicing, and monitor payments.
- Ensure compliance with Sinapis’ financial policies and collaborate with the regional finance team on budgeting and reporting.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold the highest standards of financial recordkeeping.

Qualifications and Experience for Community Administrator (Receptionist)
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in administration, office management, or a customer-facing role—preferably within a coworking space or entrepreneurial environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for hospitality and community engagement.
- High level of integrity, strong organizational skills, and a proactive, service-oriented mindset.
- Familiarity with the Kampala entrepreneurial landscape is an added advantage.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and modern communication platforms.
- A teachable spirit, team-player attitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
