Job Summary
Nama Wellness Community Centre (NAWEC) is seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Cashier to manage cash and payment operations at the Centre. The Cashier will ensure accurate processing of payments, maintain financial records, and support smooth financial operations in a busy health facility environment.
This role is crucial to maintaining financial integrity, accountability, and client trust across all transactions at NAWEC.
Key Responsibilities

Receive cash, mobile money, and other payments from clients for services rendered.

Issue official receipts for all transactions accurately.

Reconcile daily collections with service records and submit reports to the Accountant.

Maintain updated and secure records of all transactions and balances.

Support preparation of periodic financial reports and summaries.

Ensure proper filing and safekeeping of all payment documentation.

Alert management of any discrepancies or irregularities in payment records.

Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to support smooth service delivery.
Qualifications & Experience

Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field from a recognized institution.

Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in a busy health facility, NGO, or small enterprise.

Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial record-keeping.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic computer applications.
-
High level of integrity, accountability, and confidentiality.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
-
Ability to work independently and under pressure.
