Finance Trust Bank is looking for a Business Process Analyst to join the Innovations & Automation Unit. The role focuses on analyzing, documenting, and optimizing business processes to support strategic automation and system implementation. Reports to: Manager, Innovations & Automation Duty Station: Head Office, KampalaKey Responsibilities
1. Process Analysis and Improvement
- Identify inefficiencies and opportunities for process automation.
- Recommend solutions that align with the bank’s strategic goals.
- Support implementation with minimal disruption to operations.
- Collect post-implementation feedback and recommend improvements.
2. Requirements Gathering and Documentation
- Work with stakeholders to gather and document software requirements.
- Create use cases, process flows, and functional specifications.
- Validate documentation with IT, Risk, Cybersecurity, and end-users.
3. User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Plan and coordinate UAT with developers and end-users.
- Develop test scripts and acceptance criteria.
- Document results and manage resolution of issues.
4. Documentation of Developed Solutions
- Create and maintain user manuals and technical guides.
- Ensure documents are current and aligned with FTB standards.
5. User Training
- Train end-users and IT administrators on new systems.
- Develop FAQs, quick-reference guides, and support materials.
6. Other Duties
Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Manager, Innovations & Automation.Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in commercial front-line service delivery.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong data analysis skills and documentation experience.
- Service Management training is an added advantage.
- Social media management skills are desirable.
- Excellent communication, planning, and organization skills.
- Knowledge of complaint handling frameworks and customer service tools.
