We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead and expand our sales team. This is a full-time position with a hybrid work model—allowing for both remote and in-office work. The successful candidate will report directly to the Managing Director and contribute directly to strategic sales initiatives, client engagement, and team growth.Key Responsibilities
- Prepare sales and inventory reports for use by management and budget teams.
- Supervise, coordinate, and evaluate the sales team to drive performance.
- Resolve customer complaints related to products, services, or staff professionalism.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, sales, and client requisitions.
- Hire, train, and evaluate personnel for the sales department.
- Analyze sales territories and set achievable quotas to expand market reach.
- Monitor individual and team performance to ensure consistent goal achievement.
- Visit retailers and clients to promote services and gather industry feedback.
Qualifications and Experience
- Post-secondary diploma in Business, Marketing, or related fields (degree preferred).
- 2–3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar role.
- Experience in transportation, logistics, or IT-driven businesses is an added advantage.
Required Skills
- Active listening and effective communication.
- Strong persuasive and negotiation abilities.
- Excellent time management and multitasking skills.
- Familiarity with CRM software, email tools, presentation platforms, and video conferencing tools.
