Job Overview

We are hiring a qualified and experienced Building Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily operations and maintenance of designated properties, ensuring everything runs efficiently, safely, and profitably. This is a full-time role based in Kampala.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of building operations including maintenance, cleaning, and security services.
• Supervise service providers, contractors, and building staff to ensure performance standards are met.
• Manage budgets, track expenses, and control operational costs.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal standards.
• Foster strong tenant relationships and address complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Coordinate maintenance schedules, repairs, and renovation projects.
• Conduct routine inspections and submit performance and maintenance reports.
• Monitor occupancy rates and assist in tenant onboarding and offboarding.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate Management, or a related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in property or facility management.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of building systems, property laws, and safety regulations.
• Proficient in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to multitask and handle high-pressure situations.
