Job Summary

As the Brand Officer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining CHINT's brand identity in the Ugandan market. Your main focus will be to create awareness, generate demand, and ensure consistency in communication across all platforms. You will drive strategies that connect with target audiences, promote our products, and foster brand loyalty.

You’ll work closely with the sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure that every brand message is impactful and aligned with business goals.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive brand strategies to increase market visibility and customer engagement.

  • Maintain a consistent brand voice across all platforms, including advertising, digital campaigns, events, and promotions.

  • Collaborate with design and content teams to create marketing materials such as brochures, presentations, website content, and social media assets.

  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform branding decisions.

  • Coordinate brand campaigns and events, including exhibitions, activations, and corporate communications.

  • Build partnerships with key stakeholders, influencers, and media to amplify brand presence.

  • Ensure that all marketing materials comply with brand guidelines and effectively communicate the company’s values and offerings.

  • Assist in the development and management of digital marketing campaigns to support brand objectives.

  • Provide monthly brand performance reports, including analytics, insights, and recommendations for improvement.


Required Qualifications & Skills

Education:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Marketing) from a recognized institution, with a minimum of Second-Class Upper.

  • A CIM (Chartered Institute of Marketing) certificate is an added advantage.

Experience:

  • At least 3 years of proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a brand officer, marketing executive, or product marketing position.

  • Experience in managing brand campaigns, coordinating with creative teams, and overseeing marketing initiatives.

Core Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of product marketing, branding, and consumer engagement strategies.

  • Ability to develop and implement innovative and results-driven brand strategies.

  • Solid product knowledge and ability to translate technical product features into consumer benefits.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.

  • A high level of creativity, attention to detail, and a passion for brand storytelling.

  • Team player with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
