Job Summary

Kolping Hotels is seeking a skilled and customer-focused Barista to prepare and serve high-quality coffee, tea, and other beverages. The role involves maintaining excellent hygiene standards, delivering outstanding customer service, and ensuring efficient operations in the beverage service area.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee, tea blends, juices, pastries, and related beverages using proper brewing techniques.

• Ensure all drinks and food items are presented attractively and consistently.

• Maintain cleanliness of the workstation, coffee machines, and dining areas, including regular sanitizing and disassembling of equipment for washing.

• Restock supplies and ingredients to ensure smooth service during peak hours.

• Train team members on beverage preparation, brewing techniques, and customer service best practices.

• Uphold safety and hygiene standards in all food and beverage operations.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

• Diploma or Certificate in Hotel and Institutional Catering, Hotel Management, or equivalent from a recognized institution.

• Certificate in Barista Skills is an added advantage.

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Barista or in a similar food and beverage role within the hotel industry.

• Strong knowledge of coffee and tea brewing methods.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
